I hope you like rap because the movie starts right out with a rap tune (albeit in a modified pop format) from the very opening credits. The bass is boomy but reasonably deep for a motion picture soundtrack, and the rest of the frequency range is equally impressive, with a solid transit response to kick up the adrenaline and the decibels. There's also an excellent use of the rear channels, the audio producing an all-encompassing surround environment--automobiles, rain, thunder, crowd noises, the whole shebang.
